Very similar to one of American Apparel's unisex California Fleece Pullover Hoodie, #5495, now made by a new American vendor exclusively for Dharma Trading! (American Apparel has gone bankrupt.) It is very difficult to find dyeable 100% cotton fleece anythings, let alone a nice hoodie like this that is sewn with cotton thread! The only thing that doesn't dye on these babies is the hood drawstring, which actually makes for a nice contrast. Great for dyeing, screen printing and all other forms of embellishment you can think of!
Like the AA version, these feature a soft ringspun combed cotton fleece, 7 oz/sq yd by weight, raglan sleeves and kangaroo pocket. These are, as are all Dharma exclusive styles, sewn with cotton thread for perfect dyeing. (We gave up on American Apparel's "promise" of cotton thread a long time ago.) Though unisex, like American Apparel's, these are somewhat form fitting, so if you are a man or like a loose hoodie or wear over lots of layers, you might want to choose a size or two larger.
The best thing about these is that they are less expensive than the famous American Apparel ones, and you get more bang for your buck!
