Squishy soft thick and it blooms like spring after blocking. The airiness of the singly ply takes dye with a slightly muted effect so this is as soft on the eyes as the hands. On size 8 needles I was able to knit wristies with negative ease. On US 10.5 I was able to get lovely drape for a cozy shawl. Be forewarned: this is a VERY delicate yarn. I'm pretty sure I felted more of it in the dye process than I was able to use- so I'm going to let the Malabrigo professionals continue to dye this beautiful yarn and I'm going to stick with my Kona line
