Adult Watch Cap

They aren't lying when they say they are a bit baggy. The child size fits most head a little better. They dye beautifully though and you can fold the brim up a bit for a snugger fit. These are my husbands favorite hair covering under his bicycle helmet on wet days.

I bought several of these two years ago and I love them! They take dye well. They are made of t-shirt material so they are lightweight--a good size to stuff in the glove box hiking bag or pocket of a winter coat just in case you need it. This may not be your hat for a winter blizzard but it adds a bit of warmth at the gas pump or when the weather takes an unexpected turn and it can be worn under a heavier hat if a liner is needed.The fit is definitely loose. I have a large head and I get headaches from the pressure of headbands or tight hats. This hat fit over my hair even in a bun (being able to roll or unroll the brim helps) and when I shaved my hair it made an excellent nightcap. My favorite use for this cap is to keep one in my hiking bag. If I am off-trail it can keep spiderwebs and sticks out of my hair without adding too much heat in the summer. And the fabric is washing-machine friendly when things get messy (like when I'm weeding poison ivy).

My first one - it came out of the wash kind of stretched out... will have to see if it regains more elasticity.

I bought this to wear as a night cap!

I dyed this and made a swell cap for my spouse. it looks swell! I have ordered more since I want one too and plan to give a couple as gifts.
