New High Density fabric!
This is full case of 72 moderately heavy black 5 oz. 18/1 100% cotton jersey T-shirts.
They are dyed with a black dye that discharges to a light tan or almost white with Color Remover or Discharge Paste, or to a rust brown with bleach (normally- always test because you never know with black fabrics). Can also be used with the special Discharge Ink that they sell for T-shirt Printers.The cotton jersey is compacted and now has more density (more fibers per sq.inch) for less shrinkage and better print coverage that comparable shirts this weight. They are now using a finer yarn, so the higher density surface is smoother and shows perfect detail for screen printing. In fact, High Density fabric prints better than any other t-shirt fabric on the market!
It now has a new improved seamless rib crew neck that is taped in the back from shoulder to shoulder, and now double needle cover stitched in front for a nicer look and more strength. Another new improvement is that they are doing a lower relaxed crew neck instead of the traditional high crew neck, which is so much more comfortable.
It has the usual double needle hemmed sleeves and hem. Widely used for screen printing, reverse tie-dye and painting when a good quality yet still economical shirt is preferred. These are a great canvas to show off opaque transfers, foil, glitter, etc. and to be screen printed, stamped or painted with opaque fabric paints like Lumiere/Neopaque and Setacolor. These are not sewn with cotton thread.
The 5 oz fabric is a perfect weight for those more intricate tie-dye folds.
