A lot of our customers were crying when we could not get the American Apparel Knee Socks anymore! It took some searching, but we found a replacement, also dyeable, also made in the USA, and more importantly, less expensive!
Warm for the winter, in a comfortable, soft cotton blend that will dye almost as well as 100% cotton with our Fiber Reactive Dyes. Ideal for all seasons, great to layer or show off. Dye 'em, decorate 'em, screen print 'em. A blank canvas for your legs.
Soft knit Cotton Blend (77% Cotton /12% Nylon/2% Spandex). The outside of the sock is mostly cotton, and the synthetic is almost all on the inside, so they dye up beautifully!

The majority dyed well but there is a weird block on the top of the foot where the weaving changes and the poly is on the outside and cotton on the inside. It will be fine when wearing them but will make selling them an issue I'm afraid. Other than that they are fine.

The last batch has a strange patch on the top of the sock that does not dye. It will make them impossible to sell. I donated them to Goodwill after I dyed them. I feel like this patch belongs on the bottom of the foot of the sock not the top.

It sounds like Dharma had a bad batch of these socks and I see them on the clearance page as SA-DKS. The new batches are great and dye up nicely. I love wearing these because they stay up when I'm wearing ankle boots. I have a smallish foot I wear 6.5 extra wide and they stay up all night even when dancing slight extra in the heel so I know they would fit a larger or more narrow foot just as well.

Terrible quality cotton! Thread these are woven from goes from thick to thin leaving lumps and threadbare spots. I washed once and hung dry no dryer. They are already covered in fuzz and pills. Absolute short-fiber garbage cotton.

These socks really take Procion dyes well. I dye them in rainbow stripes and the colors are so bright.

I like the way these fit better than the Dharma Athletic Socks. Not as tight. Good for thin legs.
