Swept Back Beach Hat

The body of this cotton twill, baseball cap is soft and unstructured. Although the body is unstructured, it does have a plastic insert in the brim so it will not distort when dyed. They are not sewn with cotton thread so if you dye them a solid dark color, the stitches will show. For tie-dye, painting and some other techniques, that doesn't seem to matter.
This hat has an adjustable fabric strap in back with a brass adjuster and has room for your ponytail. It has a seam up the center of the crown, and has six panels with vent holes. 

These do not hold up when washed in a washing machine or dried in a dryer.
