This linen/cotton blend is slightly textured and has a soft feel to it. A very nice medium weight and natural in color. Dyes great with Dharma's Fiber Reactive (Procion) Dyes. This fabric ships in a bag instead of on a bolt.

- Thread count is 51 threads per inch x 47 threads per inch
- You can dye this with our Fiber Reactive Dyes
- Suggested usage; sportswear: shirts, blouse, skirts, Lightweight Elizabethan blouses, chemise, shirts, skirts for Ren Faire or theater, home decor curtains, tablecloths and napkins etc.

This is lovely fabric and I just ordered more. It is a fairly deep ivory color - not just a plain white. I do which it came in that kind of browngrey natural linen color. It took to the dye almost too well - came out much darker than my sample test fabric (plain cotton) - so be sure to test if dying.

This fabric is wonderful. It's soft enough and has enough give I can't imagine wearing 100% linen ever again! Holds up well in the wash too.

Absolutely gorgeous fabric -- softer than the linen content would suggest irons like a dream comfortable to wear and easy to work with. Made a shift and a kimono out of it and then turned friends onto it for projects of their own. We've dyed stitched and embroidered it with great results. It's fairly hefty in spite of the lovely drape so be aware of that if you're planning on using a lot in a garment -- my kimono (both face and lining out of this) always weighs more folded up than I'd think.

Love this fabric! Nice medium-weight texture that breathes dyes fabulously and very easy to sew on. Holds up well with washing. I've made a fitted blouse pants and Renfaire skirt so far and they've all turned out wonderfully.

Not quite thrilled. The fabric is a good weight for tops and dresses but in white you'd need a slip for a dress. It even comes out of the drier in pretty good condition. I am not a linen wearer so this might be especially soft for linen. But it is very coarse on my skin and I'm sorry I purchased 10 yards of it because I'm honestly not certain I want that many garments out of fabric that feels this coarse. Guess I'm not a linen person.

I bought this linencotton blend to make curtains. Ready-made curtains seem to be all polyester and expensive! Then I remembered Dharma has natural cotton fabrics and the price is right for buying yardage. And you can't go wrong with linen it's a classic material and look. The Essex linencotton blend is a nice white but not too harsh. Even looks slightly ivory depending upon what it's held up against. I have some extra yardage that I think I'll dye to make a garment.

This is a nice blouse shirt weight fabric. I used this for my first attempt at using homemade natural dye....it took the dye process beautifully. I bought some more.
