All of the softness and sheen of silk Charmeuse with the comfort of a stretch fabric. Made of 95% Silk and 5% Spandex and the low amount of spandex will not affect the dyeing process - dyes essentially the same as 100% silk fabric. Hot dog!

- 12mm, 45" wide
- You can dye this with Acid Dyes
- We found that this shrinks 6% in Length and 8% in Width disclaimer
- Available in cut yardage and in 52 yard bolts
- Machine wash in any temperature water
Remember, bolts vary! They can be over or under - we charge you for the actual yardage. If you need very specific yardage, order cut yardage.

Beautiful fabric for lingerie! Expensive but worth it. To make it away easier to sew I stiffen it by soaking in a cornstarch solution for a few minutes roll in towels to damp dry then hang dry and iron.

This really beautiful Charmeuse can be dyed in any color of the rainbow. I make lampshades and have used it to underline and line them for years with excellent results. I would not hesitate to make a camisole slinky dress or lingerie using this charmeuse. I love it!

This is the perfect fabric! It dyes extremely well. I have used this Stretch Charmeuse for years to underline and sometimes dye and line custom lampshades. It would also make yummy tank tops and lingerie. It doesn't suffer much when you wash it and it is very durable. Pressing is a breeze with light steam using an Iron Safe on the bottom of your iron. Don't ever stop making this fabric!!!!!!!

I have used this beautiful charmeuse to line and underline lampshades for years. It is just perfect!. Would not hesitate to make a camisole slinky dress or lingerie. It also dyes beautifully!

This is gorgeous fabric. It takes the dye beautifully. Ive been using it for blouses and tops. It has just the right amount of stretch to make the garment more wearable while also being very glamorous.

I ordered this for a wedding dress underlining to provide a bit of stretch to the structure ( light lace overlay) but found it to be incredibly and unsuitably sheer. Would be great for lampshades or perhaps a dress with lots of volume.

Such a beautiful fabric I can't wait to make lingerie with it! Seems to only have 1-way stretch though. PLEASE consider making this in a black colorway!
