This is a great bag for decorating with paint. The jute shell is coated on the inside with a thin clear plastic which stiffens the bag and gives it great body. This bag doesn't flop when you try to fill it. After washing it still looks great but there are big creases like a rumpled paper bag. It's very authentic and natural looking. I'm giving it four stars because of the post-washing creases .

These bags are great for embroidering. I ordered 20 and now am ordering another 7 today. You cannot hoop the bag (too thick) -- you must use sticky stabilizer and also pin the bag to the stabilizer. It took me about 10 minutes to center and hoop each bag. The lining was nicer than I was expecting at this price.

Excellent quality for the price! Holds several large beach towels & then some. Perfect for a trip to the beach or an outing on the boat. Stylish as is or can be "dressed up". Purchasing several more to use as gift bags.

I washed out in my washing machine on the soak cycle which does some very gentle agitation. This was enough to reduce the jute exterior to shreds. These are horrible. Wouldn't recommend.
